Normally wasps and hornets are not dangerous, their presence is a problem when they come to make their nests near doors or windows, in flower beds or gardens and sometimes even in the walls of our homes.
If you need to remove a nest, whether it’s small or large, whether it’s accessible or in the structure of a building, don’t take unnecessary risks, call us.
Before you call:
There are a few criteria by which to gauge the complexity of removing a nest:
Is it a nest the size of an apple or a soccer ball, or even larger.
Is it accessible, do you have to use a ladder to get to it, how high is it.
Is it hidden in the structure of the building or is it outside the house. ( you will hear buzzing or scratching if the bugs are in the structure).
Is it in the ground ( can cover a large area)
Observe the comings and goings of the insects and try to find where they enter their nest and how often they come and go.Once you have this information, call us.
Until the nest has been eliminated, do not allow children or pets to play near the area where the nest is located. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS! ESPECIALLY IF THEY SUFFER FROM ALLERGIES. If the nest is in a structure, insecticide may need to be injected into the walls or ceilings to eliminate it.
