The presence of this insect is considered a hidden defect in your building and can cause serious damage. Don't waste time, you must exterminate them quickly.

Our company specializes in the treatment of pests living in the structure of buildings, such as the carpenter ant.

In addition to our departmental pest management certifications, we hold a general contractor’s license which attests to our extensive knowledge of building structure and components.

When you see ants that look like the ones you can see in our pictures walking around the house, and you see them constantly, there are two possibilities: In warm weather, they are either coming from outside the house and looking for a new place to establish a nest ( in your house) or they are already established in your walls and they are scouting out to create a perimeter nest in another part of the structure or to find food. (It is very common for ants to appear in the spring and then disappear, but don’t be fooled, they are definitely there in your walls and they are destroying your home. )

In either case, you need to have a treatment done to get rid of them because they will never go away on their own.

Once you have decided to take action, we send you a document that tells you what to prepare before the treatment and safety instructions for you and your pets.

What we do in the building structure:

We perimeter with a long-lasting insecticide along the walls to eliminate worker ants and scouts. This also prevents relocation of the nest.
We identify points in the structure vulnerable to infestation ( the specialized exterminator inspects and reports back to you) We also apply insecticide baits in strategic areas for the workers to bring back to the colony. In addition, we inject residual insecticide powder into walls where there are sources of water or water infiltration to go and destroy the nests where they are found.

We will often also powder vulnerable areas in the basement and attics.
If we find the nest, we ask if we can rip out the part of the structure being attacked and we will eliminate the ants directly inside the walls ( see video )

If the nest is inaccessible for powdering, we also employ a specialized device that injects insecticide into the smallest holes and advances it along cracks, tunnels and cavities. The insecticide, in the form of micro droplets sprayed by ultrasound, is transported by a light ventilation in all the openings of the ant farm and spreads everywhere. This technique is extremely effective in destroying well-hidden nests.

From this point on, you should remain vigilant and check to see if you see any more ants emerging from elsewhere. Once another nest is located, the procedure begins again.
We give a one year guarantee on the control of treated nests.

We also offer a thermal camera and leak detection service to help pinpoint structural building issues that need to be addressed to avoid having carpenter ants again.

During the initial treatment, we treat outside of the building to create a barrier around your home and prevent ants from outside from coming back to your home.
We also spread special insecticide baits that they carry back to their nests and this reduces the ant population around the house.
We inspect the trees around the building for signs of a carpenter ant colony.

Only by eliminating the main source will you actually eliminate the problem completely. The main nest can be located up to 100 yards from the structure.

The bait barrier around the house is an annual treatment that must be renewed year after year if you want to ensure complete protection of your building.
If you renew it the following year as suggested, we will also extend the interior warranty for one year ensuring you complete, long-term protection.

We follow the recommendations of Health Canada and the Quebec Ministry of the Environment to the letter to ensure the safest possible application of pesticides.
We work for you, and your health is important to us.
