If an insect bites you and it jumps, there is a very good chance that it is a flea.

A flea is a small, vertically flat, 2-4 mm blood-sucking insect that can jump up to 40 cm. The treatment to get rid of them is quite laborious and requires several precise instructions. Don't do it yourself, you may be working for nothing; let us help you!

Before you give in to the panic!
There is no need to throw away your mattress or furniture.
Look for small dark brown insects about the size of a sesame seed.

Go to our pest encyclopedia to learn more about fleas.
Talk to your neighbors, they may have them too and may need to do preventative treatments.

The biggest problem with fleas is that they can transmit diseases and they reproduce very very quickly. Each female flea lays about 20 eggs per day for a few weeks and the eggs fall all over the immediate environment. Assuming one generation per month, two fleas could possibly create 16 million fleas in less than three months! If he has fleas, you will see little dark dots falling on the sheet.

You can also wear large white socks when you stay at home, the fleas will try to bite you on your ankles and calves and you will be able to see them easily. Do not use commercial insecticides, you risk chasing the fleas away and spreading the problem everywhere.

You need a residual insecticide treatment to get rid of them. Contact us!

Speak to your landlord, they need to know.

You’re going to HAVE to deal with a specialized company, choose the right 🙂

With us it’s very simple:

  1. You give us a call, explain your situation, give us your contact information, and we’ll agree on a procedure to follow.
  2. A minute later, you receive a preparation document by email, you read it and determine when you’re going to be ready.
  3. You call us back to tell us when it’s a good fit for you and we make an appointment for that day.
  4. A technician comes by to do the treatment, you follow the instructions properly and VOILÀ! Your problem is solved!

Flee from extermination companies that want to treat immediately and pick up the check. Getting rid of fleas is not as simple as spraying insecticide all over the place; careful preparation must be done if you do not want to keep your problem. Pesticide application must be safe and follow Health Canada guidelines. We will always give you a detailed instruction document before doing the work.

Make sure the company is certified, not just the person coming to do the treatment. Ask to see the pesticide purchase permit number from the Ministry of the Environment. If the person doesn’t have one, they are possibly buying their insecticide from the local hardware store and you are being robbed of your money since it can’t fix the problem. We have all the necessary permits, we work with the government, large hotels, hospitals, businesses, multi-unit housing parks and tons of individuals.

Beware of the possibility of « extra » fees that are disclosed to you after the fact. Look for a no-fee follow-up guarantee. Make sure you are paying for registered, high-quality insecticides. The difference in treatment prices is often found in the length of the guarantee, the quality of the instructions you are given and the residual of the products used. The effectiveness is always proportional to the price you pay and a « cheap » treatment will possibly force you to pay for a second treatment, and a third… We use Health Canada registered insecticides with the best possible residuals, we offer follow-up throughout your treatment and we guarantee that we will come back for up to one year at no cost.

We will not give you the cheapest treatment, nor the most expensive, but as we are specialists,

we offer you the best treatment that exists in Canada, that we guarantee!

We follow the recommendations of Health Canada and the Ministry of Environment of Quebec to ensure the best application of pesticides possible.

We work for you, and your health is important to us.

We serve the greater Montreal area, Longueuil, Laval, the north shore and the south shore.

We also treat all other pest problems ( rodents, ants, cockroaches, bed bugs, grubs, wasps, spiders etc)
